Baiame

The Sky Father who stepped down onto the earth to teach the tribes how to dance, how to sing, and how to keep the fire of the initiation alive. He is the giant of the stars, whose footsteps created the sacred sites and whose voice is the low, vibrating roar of the bullroarer in the night air. Is the sky a ceiling or a floor, and does he walk upon our dreams with the weight of a thousand years? He is the law-maker of the East, the one who ascended to the heavens but left his spirit in the stones of the bora ring.
