Sun Myung Moon

The South Korean founder of the Unification Church, whose followers are often referred to as "Moonies." He claimed that Jesus appeared to him at age 15, asking him to complete the mission of establishing the Kingdom of God on Earth. Famous for his "Blessing ceremonies," massive mass weddings intended to create a "True Family" and purify the human bloodline. Beyond religion, he built a vast business empire and was a staunch anti-communist, exerting significant political influence globally. He viewed himself as the "True Parent" of humanity, tasked with reconciling all faiths under a single messianic vision.
