Mary

She is the "Fiat" that allowed the Infinite to become an infant, the woman whose womb became the border between heaven and earth. Mary is the "New Eve" who untied the knot of disobedience with the thread of her humble "yes." As the $Theotokos$ (God-bearer), she is the preeminent disciple, the one who perfectly followed the Way from the Annunciation to the Foot of the Cross. She represents the eternal truth that God’s greatest works require human cooperation. She is the Mother of the Church, the refuge of sinners, and the one who always points her children toward her Son with the command: "Do whatever He tells you."
