He is the Lord of the Dance, balanced on the back of the demon of ignorance while surrounded by a halo of cosmic fire. With one hand he creates the beat of the universe, while the other holds the flame that will eventually consume it all in a grand finale. Why do we fear the end when the end is merely the beginning of the next rhythmic cycle? He teaches that the destruction of the old is the only way to make room for the ecstasy of the new.
