Cronus

The King of the Titans and the personification of devouring Time, the sickle-bearer who realized that anything born of duration must eventually be consumed by it. He is the master of the harvest and the cruelty of the clock, the one who swallowed his own potential to prevent being superseded. He represents the tragic necessity of the cycle: that which creates must also destroy to make room for the new.
