Zì Rán

Not a person, but the supreme Taoist state of "Self-So-Ness" or spontaneity. Zi Ran is the Way things happen when we get out of our own way—the flower blooming because it is its nature, not because it has a schedule. It is the raw, uncarved wood of existence.
