The "Lower Sophia," she is the aspect of divine wisdom that fell into the regions of shadow and became the source of the material world’s emotions. Her grief became the water, her fear became the earth, and her longing for the light became the fire. She represents the soul in exile, the divine spark that is "lost in the woods" of the physical body. Her story is the story of every human longing for a home they can barely remember.
