Ath-Thurayya

The "Many Little Ones" of the Arabic desert, a cluster so beautiful it was likened to a chandelier hanging from the center of the sky. To the Bedouin, they were a guide through the trackless sands, a celestial fountain of moisture in a dry world. They represent the "Guiding Luminance," the beacon that keeps the traveler from losing their way when the horizon disappears. They are the diamonds scattered on the black cloak of the night.
