Tupilaq

A terrifying construct of bone, skin, and dark intent, the Tupilaq is an artificial spirit created by a practitioner of secret arts to seek out and destroy an enemy. It is a vengeful hunter of the night, a chimeric beast that exists only to fulfill a contract of blood. However, the creator risks everything, for if the target is spiritually stronger, the Tupilaq will turn back to devour its own maker. It represents the dangerous consequences of using the spiritual world for personal malice, a boomerang of teeth and shadow.
