Yam

The "Tyrant of the Sea" and the "River Judge," he represents the chaotic, unruly waters that threaten to swallow the dry land. Yam represents the eternal truth of "Primordial Chaos"—the vast, unconscious forces within the psyche and the world that must be mastered but can never be fully destroyed. His conflict with Baal is the cosmic drama of boundaries. He teaches us that without a firm "Will" (represented by Baal’s palace), our lives would be washed away by the tides of emotion and impulse.
