The "Janua Caeli" is the threshold through which the Creator entered His creation and through which the creatures return to their Creator. This is the gate that was closed by an ancient "no" and flung wide by a faithful "yes" to the Archangel. This title reminds us that our journey to heaven is not a solo flight, but a passage through a door opened by divine-human cooperation. It is the eternal truth that salvation has a specific entrance—the humility and receptivity modeled by the Mother of God. This is the last thing we pass through on our way home.
